Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Isaiah 51

Isaiah wrote a simple line -

"Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law..." (Old Testament | Isaiah 51:7)

Isn't that what we are all striving for is that our "heart is my law"

President Joseph Fielding Smith taught -

"The Spirit of God speaking to the spirit of man has power to impart truth with greater effect and understanding than the truth can be imparted by personal contact even with heavenly beings. Through the Holy Ghost the truth is woven into the very fibre and sinews of the body so that it cannot be forgotten." (DS 1:47-48.)
