2 Nephi 24

Again, as we liken the words of Isaiah to ourselves, I believe Babylon in the last days is Satan's kingdom and wick leaders.  Of such, Isaiah said -

"THE burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see."  (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 23:1)


"...Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah."  (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 23:19)


For -

"The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, the scepters of the rulers.
6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth."  (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 24:5 - 6)

And -


"Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming..."  (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 24:9)


And of Satan, the wicked will say -

"All they shall speak and say unto thee: Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto us?
11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave..."  (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 24:10 - 11)


Even -

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! Art thou cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thy heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and shall consider thee, and shall say: Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms?"  (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 24:12 - 16)

And it will be the Lord that will do it!
