Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 124

As the Lord was speaking of the officers belonging to His priesthood, he said -

"...I give unto you a high council, for the corner-stone of Zion..." (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 124:131)

...or in my mind, the corner-stone for a stake of Zion. I am a builder and recognize that the cornerstone provides stability and strength for a structure of the building. I see the stake high council as exactly that. That which provides stability and integrity of the stake.
