Isaiah 64

Herein, Isaiah prays for the second coming where the righteous will rejoice and the wick will suffer.  But what Isaiah tries to explain to Israel is an eternal perspective -

"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."  (Old Testament | Isaiah 64:4)

Those words should bring a great deal of excitement and desire to be faithful as any other.
