This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Isaiah 16

Prophecies concerning Moab are contained in both the 15th and 16th chapters of Isaiah.  Isaiah talks about Judah and Israel in the last days will protect Moab in righteousness saying -

"Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness."  (Isaiah 16:4–5)

David J. Ridges comments that "Moab" in verse four should have been Israel.  Seems to make sense.
