Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 76

Having defined much concerning the sons of perdition, the Lord states -

"For all the rest shall be brought forth by the resurrection of the dead, through the triumph and the glory of the Lamb, who was slain, who was in the bosom of the Father before the worlds were made."  (Doctrine and Covenants 76:39)

Adding -

"Wherefore, he saves all except them..."  (Doctrine and Covenants 76:44)

In my mind, this does not mean that all will be saved "in the kingdom of God", just that they will be saved through His atonement to some level of glory.  It also does not mean that they will not be punished for their sins.  Only those that truly repent will not suffer for their sins.
