Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. "...while they were at variance one with another they became very slothful, and they hearkened not unto the commandments of their lord." (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 101:50)

The failure of these watchmen was they were not in unity and thus not following the commandments given of the Lord. They had not the Spirit nor His guidance, thus -

"...the enemy came by night, and broke down the hedge; and the servants of the nobleman arose and were affrighted, and fled; and the enemy destroyed their works, and broke down the olive-trees." (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 101:51)

The lessen is the watchmen must be in unity and in standing in their place.
