Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 50

Regarding those that may be deceived by false spirits, the Savior acknowledges -

"...blessed are they who are faithful and endure, whether in life or in death, for they shall inherit eternal life."  (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 50:5)

In my mind, all will be treated fairly with the truth whether in this life or in the spirit world, and if faithful, will inherit eternal life.  Ours is not to judge.

In regards to justification and sanctification, the Lord taught -

"...no man is possessor of all things except he be purified and cleansed from all sin."   (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 50:28)

Obviously, justification and sanctification go hand in hand.
