Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. 3 Nephi 17

I find it ironic this morning that no sooner had I read -

"I perceive that ye are weak, that ye cannot understand all my words which I am commanded of the Father to speak unto you at this time.
3 Therefore, go ye unto your homes, and ponder upon the things which I have said, and ask of the Father, in my name, that ye may understand, and prepare your minds for the morrow, and I come unto you again."  (Book of Mormon | 3 Nephi 17:2 - 3)

This morning, shortly after I had read several verses, my mind seemed to wander to the doctrine of a message I shared in a week-long "Priesthood Encampment" I participated in all last week.

I think that this time at home, pondering the words of Christ leads us to personal revelation.
