2 Corinthians 11
Having admitted that in previous letters that he had been quite bold and hard on the saints in Corinth, Paul, in somewhat more softness, warns -
"...I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." (New Testament | 2 Corinthians 11:3 - 4)
I hope to be sensitive, but I feel it is quite ironic that other Christian denominations you this scripture to suggest that the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is one that "preacheth another Jesus". But the more I read the New Testament, the more I believe we do teach the true Jesus. It is interesting that Paul, an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ says "whom we have not preached". What other organization preacheth Jesus that have been ordained an apostle of the Lord. Think about it. I hope to not offend, but I believe that other Christians churches may be those that "preach another Jesus" or variations of His doctrine.
