James 2

 I feel James settles the argument that faith or belief in Jesus Christ is all that is required to live in "heaven".  James seems to suggest, like the Prophet Joseph Smith, is a principle of action or obedience.  He asks - 

"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?"  (James 2:14)

Adding - 

"Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."  (James 2:18)

In other words -

"But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"  (James 2:20)

Obviously, works include repentance and entering into ordinances and covenants.
