Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Luke 10

 As the Seventy returned - 

"...with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name."  (Luke 10:17)

The Savior warns - 

"Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven."  (Luke 10:20)

I think this is warning of becoming prideful. in the work.  Rejoice in just good works, not personal gratification.
