Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 40

 After having made a covenant with the Lord, the Lord speaks of James Covel - 

"...he received the word with gladness, but straightway Satan tempted him; and the fear of persecution and the cares of the world caused him to reject the word.

3 Wherefore he broke my covenant, and it remaineth with me to do with him as seemeth me good."  (Doctrine and Covenants 40:2–3)

At first it may seem the Lord is going to punish James, but as I pondered His words, He will do a righteous and good judgement.  Justice is good.
