Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 37

 The Lord instructed the Prophet Joseph Smith in December, 1830 - 

"Behold, I say unto you that it is not expedient in me that ye should translate any more until ye shall go to the Ohio, and this because of the enemy and for your sakes."  (Doctrine and Covenants 37:1)

Sometimes, the will of the Lord may not make sense, but obedience is the matters.  We see that with the closing of temples in our day.
