Galations 3
Paul asked the Galatians -
"...Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?" (Galatians 3:2)
And again -
"He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?" (Galatians 3:5)
He than explains of the law or law of Moses -
"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:24–26)
It is important that Joseph Smith taught that "faith' is a word of action, in other words, keeping the commandments and serving and ministering to our fellowmen.
