Romans 2

Paul writes of those that do not hear the gospel of Jesus Christ still experience the Light of Christ -

"...For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)"  (Romans 2:14–15)

It reminds me of the words of Mormon -

“…the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil…”  (Moroni 7:16)
