Matthew 2

As I blogged earlier, Matthew seemed to strive to justify his writings with Old Testament prophecies.    When Joseph and Mary returned from Egypt, Matthew writes -

"And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene."  (Matthew 2:23)

This prophecy does not appear to be in the Old Testament substantiating that the Old Testament is not a complete testament and has missing works.
