Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 102

I got busy with my granddaughter yesterday (went to a movie) and forgot to blog!

As I read this section yesterday, it reminded me of my calling as a high councilor, especially -

"The accused, in all cases, has a right to one–half of the council, to prevent insult or injustice."  (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 102:15)

This does not mean that one-half defend the accuse for this is not a court.  It is to make sure that the so-called accused is not insulted as well as treated without bias or injustice.  I would share on one occasion, a strong feeling to defend and "accused" against unjust discipline.
