Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 101

Concerning the sufferings and afflictions of the saints in Missouri, the Lord teaches -

"...fear not even unto death; for in this world your joy is not full, but in me your joy is full.
37 Therefore, care not for the body, neither the life of the body; but care for the soul, and for the life of the soul."  (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 101:36 - 37)

This is not about a single affliction, but all afflictions and tribulations in this life.  This life is only of limited duration.
