Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Jesus the Christ - 13

 As the Savior spoke with the Samaritan woman at the well - 

"...as Jesus expounded the matter to her, the place of worship was of lesser importance than the spirit of the worshiper. "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

Elder Talmage wrote earlier of "God" or the Godhead consisting of the Eternal Father or Elohim, His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, suggesting all three are Gods.  I have pondered somewhat the Holy Ghost and His nature in the eternities.  Though there is little revealed and written on the eternity of the Holy Ghost and associated doctrine, the thought crossed my mind for the first time this morning that the teaching of the Savior could be in reference to the Holy Ghost.
