Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. 1 Thessalonians 4

 Much like our day, Paul warned the saints - 

"For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God..."  (1 Thessalonians 4:2–5)

Our media and entertainment do suggest "as the Gentiles which know not God".  How do some Christian denominations then suggest this is normal and all right?
