Zechariah 7

 Responding to those who will not hear, the Lord said - 

"Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts..."(Zechariah 7:13)

I find it interesting that when someone who has refused to listen to the counsel of the Lord, pleads for help, there confidence with the Lord wains.
