Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Luke 2

 Luke writes that when Joseph and Mary found 12-year-old Jesus in the temple, that He was - 

 "...sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers."  (Luke 2:46–47)

The two verses seem to conflict each other. The Prophet Joseph Smith corrected in footnote - 

JST Luke 2:46 … and they were hearing him, and asking him questions.
