Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 106

The Lord promises Warren Cowdery as well as being specifically warned - 

"...blessed is my servant Warren, for I will have mercy on him; and, notwithstanding the vanity of his heart, I will lift him up inasmuch as he will humble himself before me.

8 And I will give him grace and assurance wherewith he may stand..."  (Doctrine and Covenants 106:7–8)

In my mind, this is a blessing and warning to all.  Ultimately, Warren did not heed the warning of vanity and later left the Church.
