2 Nephi 24

As Isaiah seems to interchange Babylon with Satan and his minions, he states -

"...How hath the oppressor ceased?..."  (2 Nephi 24:4)

"All they shall speak and say unto thee: Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto us?"  (2 Nephi 24:10)

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!..."  (2 Nephi 24:12)

"For thou hast said in thy heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High."  (2 Nephi 24:13–14)

Obviously, Satan lived before he came to earth.  God did not create him for we are all eternal with our own attributes and personalities before we were born as spirits.
