Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. 2 Nephi 2

As Lehi teaches his son, Jacob, on what is one of the greatest explanations of the purpose of life and the great plan of salvation, he teaches of the atonement of Jesus Christ -

"Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth.
7 Behold, he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered."
(2 Nephi 2:6–7)

Humility and meekness will always be a condition to receive the blessing of His grace.
