Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. John 20

I probably have mentioned this before, but among all the women mentioned in the New Testament, she must have had a more unique and special relationship with the Savior.  For she was the first He came to after His resurrection.  For me, the first person I would visit would be my wife.

To her, Jesus said -

"...Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father..."  (John 20:17)

The JST of the Bible says -

"...Hold me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father..."

Which suggest to me "do not hold on to me", which provides a better understanding.
