Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Mark 7

The Pharisees and scribes asked the Savior -

"...Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders..."  (Mark 7:5)

The Savior answered in respect to traditions -

"...Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."  (Mark 7:7)

I have watched for years how members of the Church are so steep in traditions that they have trouble disseminating between doctrine and tradition.  This has led many to falter.
