This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Mark 2

In find it interesting that the Pharisees said to the Savior of His disciples -

"...Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?"  (Mark 2:24)

The definition of things which is unlawful we decided by man.  To which the Savior responds -

"...The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath..."  (Mark 2:27)

The sabbath is then intended to be used to spiritually bless mankind and what we do is that directed by the Lord and that which helps families in their spiritual growth.
