Isaiah 38
When Hezekiah was told by Isaiah that he was going to die, Hezekiah prayed -
"...Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore." (Isaiah 38:3)
I believe that when we are in dire circumstances and need the Lord's help and blessings, we can do so in confidence when we are paying our tithing, keeping the commandments, etc. When it is according to the Lord's will, he may bless us for when he had prayed so -
"Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,
5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years." (Isaiah 38:4–5)
