Moses 4
As Eve was tempted, we read -
"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it became pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make her wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and also gave unto her husband with her, and he did eat."
Even though Adam and Eve did not remember their pre-mortal life, in my mind, they were given two conflicting commandments. I believe they were intelligent and taught in the garden. As we read this record and in other places, it seems this decision was instantaneous. But I believe they were both troubled with their divine nature of ease. Per the "The Family..." declaration, I believe Eve struggled with a desire to nurture, and when she partook, I think she knew what she was doing.
