Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 42

 As the Lord presents His laws, He states that the saints - 

"...shall observe the covenants and church articles to do them, and these shall be their teachings, as they shall be directed by the Spirit."  (Doctrine and Covenants 42:13)

"...shall hereafter receive church covenants, such as shall be sufficient to establish you, both here and in the New Jerusalem."  (Doctrine and Covenants 42:67)

and - 

"...every person who belongeth to this church of Christ, shall observe to keep all the commandments and covenants of the church."  (Doctrine and Covenants 42:78)

Obviously, covenants are important to the Lord.
