Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. D&C 15

The Lord told John Whitmer - 

"...many times you have desired of me to know that which would be of the most worth unto you."(Doctrine and Covenants 15:4)

I think these words are interesting.  John wanted to know what would be best for him.  Not what the Lord would have him do.

Sunday, we had a lesson on all the personal benefits of worshipping in the temple.  All this being good.  But there was no mention of the benefit to others.  I couldn't help but think that as the Savior performed His infinite atonement, I'm sure He wasn't thinking how does this be of most worth to me.
