Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Alma 22

 After Aaron had taught king Laman, Laman was so touched that he was willing to  -

"...give up all that I possess, yea, I will forsake my kingdom, that I may receive this great joy."  (Alma 22:15)

But that isn't was the Lord would necessarily want.  Aaron explained - 

"...If thou desirest this thing, if thou wilt bow down before God, yea, if thou wilt repent of all thy sins, and will bow down before God, and call on his name in faith, believing that ye shall receive, then shalt thou receive the hope which thou desirest."  (Alma 22:16)

The Lord wants a willingness to repent.
