Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Matthew 11

 The Savior taught -

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."  (Matthew 11:28–30)

What does it mean to "take my yoke upon you"?  Elder Bednar taught - 

"Making and keeping sacred covenants yokes us to and with the Lord Jesus Christ".
