Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. Proverbs 3

 Though there are more popular quotes of wisdom in Proverbs 3, I note two that impressed me - 

"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones."  (Proverbs 3:7–8)

And - 

"Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly."  (Proverbs 3:34)

Humility seems to be a requirement of God's health, wisdom, and enabling power.
