Scripture Blog

This weblog is my personal online scripture journal. I try to read the scriptures each morning as I exercise on my cross-trainer. It has a great impact on my life and my testimony of the Savior and his restored church. The journal is really for my own benefit but I have set it up as a web log in hopes to benefit anyone else that may be interested. JS - History

The Spirit of Revelation comes in many forms and means per the Lord's will.  As the Prophet Joseph Smith read -

"...the Epistle of James, first chapter and fifth verse, which reads: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."  (Joseph Smith—History 1:11)

He later comments -

"Never did any passage of scripture come with more power to the heart of man than this did at this time to mine. It seemed to enter with great force into every feeling of my heart. I reflected on it again and again..."  (Joseph Smith—History 1:12)

When we are worthy and the Lord wants us to know something, revelation follows.
